July 14, 21, 28, August 4 (four training days total)
9:00 to 10:30 AM
Milestrip Road Complex
This summer, Camp Quaker will focus on conditioning and team tactics. The first 55 minutes will be spent on stretching (including ACL strengthening) and conditioning drills. All strength and conditioning activities we do at Camp can be done at home, on your own. The final 25 minutes will focus on tactics players will encounter playing Modified, JV, and Varsity soccer. Strengths and weaknesses of different formations will be the jumping off point. We will discuss specifics such as playing a zone defense with three defenders versus four defenders, the roles and responsibilities of a triangle midfield of three versus a diamond midfield of four, and movement of forwards off the ball.
