The 2018-19 season travel tryouts will be held on the weekends of July 21st, July 22nd & July 26th (for U15 girls only) and also August 4th & 5th at the Orchard Park Soccer Complex located at 6909 Milestrip Road in Orchard Park. The tryouts for our Travel teams will be held on the following days/times:
Boys:
On Saturday 7/21/18 sign-in will be from 9:00-9:30 AM with tryouts from 9:30-11:00 AM.
On Sunday 8/5/18 sign-in will be from 1:00-1:30 PM with tryouts from 1:30-3:00 PM.
Girls:
On Sunday 7/22/18 sign-in will be from 1:00-1:30 PM with tryouts from 1:30-3:00 PM all age groups except U15 age group girls for the 2019 season.
For U15 girls – On Thursday 7/26/18 sign-in will be from 6:00-6:30pm with tryouts from 6:30-8:00pm.
On Saturday 8/4/18 sign-in will be from 9:00-9:30 AM with tryouts from 9:30-11:00 AM – all age groups.

Evaluations: These sessions are in addition to the information from prior years of play and coach evaluations. Players are not placed solely by performance on these days. Information related to ability, attendance, attitude, and interest is considered. We will have player evaluations from current coaches, and other impartial coaching members of the club. For those that have not played in the past, attending these sessions is very important.
Travel Program Information:
Registration: Registration fee is $230 per player. This costs covers indoor winter practice times at either Epic Center or Sahlens, as well as the OPSC Academy Open Club Training program which runs every week from January through April. Registration is not yet open, you will receive an email when it is. Number of teams is based on availability of coaches, refunds will be made if players are not placed on a team.
Uniforms: Each player will be required to purchase an OPSC uniform their first season – shirt ($50), shorts ($30) & socks ($10). These uniforms remain unchanged so may be worn over multiple seasons.
Commitment: Teams are formed in August 2018 and remain together until August 2019. Your coach will schedule outdoor practices in the Fall, Spring & Summer based on their and the team’s availability. Practice times over the winter will be based on indoor fields allocated by the club to the team. Matches begin in early May and end late July. Half of the matches will be played at home and the remainder away – all in the greater Buffalo/Niagara area.
Tournaments: Participation in tournaments is determined by the coach based on team availability and will be an additional cost for Travel teams.
