OPSC Under 8 Travel Program 2023/2024
We are looking for boys and girls to participate in our Under 8 Travel Program. Eligible players will be born in 2016.
Expected Seasonal Plan
- September and October
- 2-3 Practices
- 1 Scrimmage Game
- January to April
- Practice 1 time per week indoors
- May to Early July
- 1 Outdoor practice per week
- 2-3 game day festivals vs other local clubs
- 1-2 scrimmage games vs other local clubs
The program is meant for players that have an aspiration to play travel soccer. Travel soccer typically begins at the U9 level. At OPSC we like to give those players that have a love for the game an opportunity to receive additional training, and to expose them to other players and coaches with the same goals and objectives. This program is meant to give the players a taste of travel soccer by exposing them to other clubs and competition levels. This is done in a fun and educational learning environment.
Many players will continue to participate in the fall and spring house league.
We are limited to the number of players that we can take in the program to about 15 boys and 15 girls. We do not hold tryouts for U8.
Cost: $250 per year
Plus uniform=$25
