Travel tryouts for the 2025/2026 season will be held on the dates of July 12th and August 9th, 2025 at the Orchard Park Soccer Complex located at 6909 Milestrip Road in Orchard Park.

Do your best to attend as many of the tryouts as possible.  If you can make both of the tryouts please attend both of them.  The more you can attend the better.  If you can not make either tryout date please contact your coach or the director of coaching to set up a time for you to be evaluated.

TRYOUT FIELD MAP

 Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early to find your field location.

Please see the bottom of this page to determine your child’s age divisions based on birth year.

Evaluations:  These sessions are in addition to the information from prior years of play and coach evaluations.  Players are not placed solely by performance on these days.  Information related to ability, attendance, attitude, and interest is considered.  We will have player evaluations from current coaches, and other impartial coaching members of the club.  For those that have not played in the past, attending these sessions is very important.

Travel Program Information:

Registration: Registration fee is $400 per player.  This costs covers indoor winter practice times weekly in the Southtowns, as well as eight weeks of training from our professional training staff, all insurance, and outdoor league registration fees.  Our indoor training runs every week from January through April.   Teams will typically practice 1-2 times per week outdoors.  Number of teams is based on availability of coaches, refunds will be made if players are not placed on a team.

OPSC 2025/2026 Travel Program Details 

$400 Registration Fee (Please register before the first tryout)

January to April

• 1 hr.  – Indoor Field Practice Time – 16 weeks of training 
• Additional training with a professional trainer
• Possible indoor futsal events

May to July

• 1-2 Training session per week provided by team coach
• Additional training time with a professional trainer

Uniforms: Each player will be required to purchase an OPSC uniform their first season – shirt ($50), shorts  ($30) & socks ($10).  For the 2025 season we will have new uniforms that all families will need to purchase.  

Commitment: Teams are formed in August 2025 and remain together until August 2026.  Your coach will schedule outdoor practices in the Fall, Spring & Summer based on availability.  Practice times over the winter will be based on indoor fields allocated by the club to the team.  Matches begin in early May and end late July.   Half of the matches will be played at home and the remainder away – all in the greater Buffalo/Niagara area.

Tournaments: Participation in tournaments is determined by the coach based on team availability and will be an additional cost for travel teams.

At registration you will be charged $10 as part of your total fee.  A second installment will be charged in October.  If you do not make a team or accept a position you will receive a full refund.
